Arachne

Arachne is a melee assassin who can work well as an excellent jungler. She has high damage and can easily defeat an enemy in a one versus one battle. Her final skill, Night Crawler, allows her to flip up to her infinite web and hang upside down in the lane while increasing her movement speed. Upon leaping off the web and landing, she deals damage to all enemies in the target area.

Thor

Thor is the Mighty God of Thunder who uses Mjolnir to strike down his enemies. In Smite, he is a melee assassin which possessed the right skills to deliver high single target damage and medium crowd control. He can use his skill Tectonic Rift can stun enemies and block movement, allowing him to initiate teamfights or disrupt them since.

Loki

The ever known God of Tricksters has come to the Battleground of Gods to play his game and wreak havoc. Similar to other assassins, he can quickly kill single targets with just a few strikes if built with the right items. His ultimate Assassinate lets him teleport to his ground target location in a blink. However, if an enemy god is within his radius, Loki will backstab that target, delivering damage and stunning them at the same time.

Bastet

Bastet is the Egyptian Goddess of Cats who possessed the fiercest claws that let her shred her enemies at once. She is one of the most used gods in Smite because she can easily be maneuvered. Her best skill is Catcall which upon activation allows her to summon 3 cats that attack nearby targets, slowing and damaging them at the same time. These cats will attack enemies who are already bleeding, making sure that they won’t escape.

Nemesis

The red-washed blade of Divine Retribution has fallen down from Mount Olympus to the battlefield. Nemesis, the Goddess of Vengeance, has come with a tide of retribution, making sure that anyone who is guilty of hubris will be punished. She has high mobility, allowing her to easily place herself in different positions to attack. Divine Judgement allows her to choose a single enemy god, reducing his health and movement speed for an easy kill.

Serqet

Serqet, the Goddess of Venom, is a force to reckon with in the battlefield. With her high mobility and high single target damage, she can quickly take down her target. She uses poison to deliver a slow death to her enemies, and watch them weaken by each second. Her Last Breath applies poison which deals damage over 5 seconds, preventing them from healing. If the enemy dies due to this skill, he will explode and apply poison to all nearby enemies.

Kali

Kali is the most feared Goddess of Destruction. Created as the second manifestation of the Supreme Goddess Devi, Kali unleashes her wrath to defeat the evil. What makes her the best assassins to use in the game is because aside from her high damage, she can sustain long in the battle. Her skill Destruction, turns her into an unstoppable force of nature, making her immune to knock ups and slow effects for a short duration of time.
