Riot has been giving hints about the reworks of some of League’s champions including our favorite jungle beast, Warwick. The Blood Hunter has always been an all-time favorite for players who want to try and take the role of the jungler. And with this update, we can be sure that the call for blood will be as efficient as ever. Let’s check out his skill kit update:

Passive: Eternal Thirst

Warwick’s basic attacks will cause bonus attack damage. If his health is below half, the bonus will deal bonus damage that will heal him for the same amount.

Q: Jaws of the Beast

When activated, Warwick lunges forward and bites his target. The damage dealt will heal him. If you hold down the key locks onto the target will cause the Warwick to leap behind them.

W: Blood Hunt

(Passive)

Any enemy champions with less than half health will leave behind a global blood trail and are Blood Hunted. Warwick will gain increased attack speed against Blood Hunted targets and will massively increase out-of-combat movement speed when moving towards them. These bonuses will be tripled against enemies with little health.

(Active)

The nearest champion is Blood Hunted even if they have full health. Blood Hunt’s active has a long cooldown. However, it cools down twice as fast when there are no Blood Hunted enemies.

E: Primal Howl

When this skill is activated, Warwick will take reduced damage for a short duration. At the end of its term, when activated again, Warwick howls and will cause any nearby enemies to flee in fear.

R: Infinite Duress

Warwick leaps in a direction and will suppress the first champion he collides with. It will deal damage and apply on-hit effects throughout its duration. The leap’s distance will increase based on Warwick’s movement speed. During Infinite Duress, he heals for all damage he deals. He is also immune to all crowd control effects during his leap.

Warwick remains the feisty tank, fighter every team needs to take care of the jungle. And with his vicious new tricks, you’ll be able to flex his skill sets and adapt to each situation presented in the game.
